COVID Update

Wishing everyone health during this challenging time. Most of my live performance work isn't on the table right now, but I'm definitely not playing it safe....I'm cooking up a webseries! Stay tuned :D  It's gonna be goofy, smart, and (hopefully) just the right amount of weird.

Setting sail....

I am thrilled to be joining Billboard Onboard, a singing piano experience through Windish Music Productions. I'll spend the summer playing pop/rock songs by request on Holland America Line's Eurodam. I am also relocating to New York City this summer!

Stuart Little at Wheelock Family Theatre is closed, and Kirsten is so excited to be joining Actors' Equity Association this month! Her final performance (for the time being) of The Donkey Show at American Repertory Theatre is May 19th!

Busy, Busy, Busy....

The Irish...and How They Got That Way at Greater Boston Stage Company closes this weekend, and Kirsten is already wrapping up Week 1 of rehearsals for Stuart Little at Wheelock Family Theatre! The production features several actor/musicians and will be a fun, story-theatre-inspired take on the classic. The show opens April 13!

Music Directing

Kirsten is music directing and performing in Frank McCourt's The Irish...and How They Got That Way at Greater Boston Stage Company. Kirsten contributed many original arrangements to the show, and is leading the band of actor/musicians! Rehearsals are in full swing, and this delightful little show opens March 8th.

"Sing out, Louise!" - Gypsy Updates

Gypsy is open at Lyric Stage Company of Boston! Reviews are in, calling Kirsten's performance "perfectly measured", "likable and sympathetic", and "rivetingly vulnerable." Photos are up as well! The show closes October 8.

Summer Plans

Kirsten is excited to announce that she'll be returning to Watertown Children's Theatre this summer to teach classes June 26-30 and July 5-7! More info here. She'll be in and out of Boston for the rest of the summer spending time with her family and traveling.

Reviews are here for Jonah and the Whale at Stoneham Theatre! Reviewers called the show "soulful entertainment", "youthful, imaginative, and captivating", and "touching".  Lisa Sullivan Ballew of Wicked Local said of Kirsten:  "Another new face and versatile talent is Kirsten Salpini, playing with equal gusto the roles of nurse, pianist, and Arianna. In Rehearsals...

Rehearsals start tomorrow for Jonah and the Whale at Stoneham Theatre! Kirsten is thrilled to be joining Stoneham for the first time to work on this very cool show on its East Coast premiere. She'll be playing Arianna, Nurse, and the piano in the folk band. The show runs Feb 23 - March 12.

A New Track and More Donkey Show Dates!

The Donkey Show is every Saturday night at American Repertory Theatre's OBERON. Kirsten is excited to now be covering both Dmitri/Vinnie and Mia/Oberon! She's going on July 16 as Mia/Oberon and the whole month of August as Dmitri/Vinnie.

Joining The Donkey Show!

The Donkey Show  is running at American Repertory Theatre's OBERON on Saturday nights, and Kirsten is thrilled to be joining the cast as Understudy Dmitri/Vinnie! The Donkey Show  is A Midsummer Night's Dream  set in a 70's disco, full of afros, fairies, and dancing. She's going on March 26th & April 2nd.

The Snow Queen is Open!
